Pearroc are commited to a sustainable future and want to reduce carbon emission in anyway possible.
We now produce a monthly ESG Newsletter which will give you more of an insight into the work Pearroc does in the world of Environmental, Social and Governance. 'This Month in Pearroc' editions can be found below.
Pearroc are commited to a sustainable future by introducing numerous electric vehicles to our fleet.
In an effort to become more sustainable, we are adding more & more electric vehicles to our fleet. This is helping us with our challenge to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide we release into the atmosphere when making deliveries, which supports our customers with their own reduction targets.
The technology behind electric vehicles has rapidly advanced, leading to improved battery efficiency, longer driving ranges, and faster charging.
We have partnered up with Climate Partner for all of Sustainability reporting & ESG data.
Pearroc are committed to a sustainable future by reusing & recycling any box that gets returned to us on a delivery.
Reusing and recycling old boxes provide a simple yet effective way to contribute to environmental sustainability, save money, and support the recycling industry.
By making a conscious effort to reuse and recycle, we as a businesses believe that we can play a significant role in reducing waste and conserving resources.
Pearroc are very proud to be a part of the Nationwide Hygiene Group who have just been awarded the Platinum EcoVadis Medal, ranking them in the top 1% of companies globally for their commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility👏
This achievement is a testament to our collective efforts and shared vision for a sustainable future. 🌱
We’re proud to be working with Northwood to support Green Loop - their closed-loop recycling initiative that takes used paper towels and turns them back into brand-new hygiene products.
Here’s how it works (and why we love it):
→ Paper towels are collected, not binned
→ They’re sent back to the mill for recycling
→ They come back as fresh, ready-to-use hygiene products
Less waste. More recycling. A big win for sustainability.
Because the best kind of loop? The one that actually closes.
